Dolomites Via Ferrata Climbing and Hiking

Using the famous via ferratas (Italian for “iron roads”) we climb awesome routes on the craggy heights of Italy’s dramatic Dolomites usually reserved only for expert rock climbers. Steel cables, iron rungs, pegs, ladders and bridges allow hardy hikers to experience the dramatic positions and airy perches of true mountaineers without ropes and in perfect safety.

Note: The is a strenuous hiking and climbing trip with climbs to altitudes up to 10,000’, elevation gains up to 3300’and losses up to 4600’.

In 2010, Dean created a three week Alaskan tour for my two sons and me. For all the trips I`ve ever taken in my life, and I`ve traveled quite a bit, this was by far the most customized trip I`ve ever taken. He did a great job of challenging us and catering it to our desires. The whole thing was exquisitely coordinated. — David K. New York, NY
