Slovenia Multisport

Less familiar to many Americans than its neighbors, Austria, Italy and Croatia, Slovenia is a prime destination for active travel in Europe.

It’s a vibrant area growing in popularity due to the fascinating history, easy accessibility, affordable cost, good climate, and friendly residents. The Mediterranean-influenced cuisine will excite your palate while the diversity of sports and activities keep this tour exciting every day.

From the forests to the mountains, Slovenia is a wonderful place to visit. Amazing picturesque vistas await you on the hiking trails of the Julian and Kamnik-Savinja Alps – besides the stunning mountain ranges, just over half the country is covered in forest!

You’ll enjoy heart-pumping activities like mountain biking, hiking, climbing and more exotic fare like canyoning and hydro-speeding and also have the chance to relax with casual immersion in the warm culture of Slovenia’s historic villages.

Cultural Note

Slovenia is a Slavic country and many find the place names (and the whole language) somewhat challenging, to say the least. You won’t need to speak any Slovenian on this trip.

Even better, you won’t need to know – or even spell – any of these place names! English is fine, and if you speak other European languages, you may have the chance to use them, too.

Adventures With Friends certainly encourages guests to learn and partake of the local culture. Please call us to discuss any special interests or concerns you may have. We want to make this your best trip yet!
