“On a 2011 Crested Butte mountain biking trip that Dean organized, I was blown away with the level of preparedness and professionalism.  He put us on the best trails at the best time of day.  Instead of trail mix and an apple for lunch, he laid out a scrumptious selections of smoked salmon, capers, fresh vegetables and home-cooked gourmet dishes.  Our overnight locations were beautiful.  All of us on the trip had an absolute blast.

“In 2004, Dean led our hiking group of four through Glacier National Park. We enjoyed it so much, we arranged a second Glacier trip in 2006 with our four adult kids making our group a hardy eight travelers. This time we wanted Dean to “show us the Glacier we haven’t seen”.

Our second experience topped the first! Not only were the lodging, culinerary experiences and travel arrangements flawless, but we got to experience hiking the high ridges and valleys of Glacier with our kids. An unforgettable adventure!”  

“My first hiking trip was the rim to rim hike of the Grand Canyon with Dean in 2006. His wonderful sense of humor helped us through each day no matter how easy or difficult that day was. It wasn’t long till we were calling him our ” fearless leader”. My second trip was to Sante Fe and Taos, New Mexico in 2009. We were thrilled when we found out that Dean was again our “fearless leader”. 

His knowledge and laid back personality made us all feel comfortable and we learned so much about the area. The accommodations and meals were exceptional and there were always plenty of snacks on the trail. My last trip was the Mont Blanc hike in 2010, which was an experience of a lifetime. We really wanted to do this trip, but knew it would be a challenge. Dean encouraged us all along the way and helped to make it a very memorable hike.”
